Every six months the large image on the TfL brick wall of the railway embankment at Turnham Green Terrace will change, showcasing an exciting artwork, short-listed by Abundance, partners and voted on by the public.

A wonderfully inclusive, diverse, creative and community based project celebrating all things JUBILEE 2022. A fantastic collaboration of all our Chiswick schools. Primary and secondary schools and 40 high road businesses working together. 200 primary & secondary school children from 4 different local schools worked with Make+Paint to create natural willow Christmas decorations for 22 cherry Trees on Turnham Green. Willow fish, stars, wreaths and globes were hung over 2 days by the ‘Friends of Turnham Green’ The globes were lit for the holidays and the project enthusiastically sponsored by the wonderful ‘Abundance London’

Another EPIC, community involved art project conceived by ‘Abundance London’. 3000 ply butterflies and flowers were painted by scores of children and adults alike across Chiswick and attached to netting draped across our (now empty) police station. It continues to attract many hundreds of people from all across London.

It took almost a year of planning, scheduling and the rallying of talented volunteers (including ex students) during 2019 to clean, draw and paint the new happy and colourful nursery playground mural. Loved by the children it is a beacon during the grey winter months.

The Queen of collage, Kristjana Williams generously dedicated her time and studio in 2018 and again in 2019 to work with Make+Paint on a year group project at our local primary school and again with the whole school for their ‘Arts Fortnight’.

Long term teacher and resident of the Cayman Islands. David is now the most successful Fine Artist on Grand Cayman, in the BW1. David spent a wonderful full day with all year groups in 2017 imagining flying machines in willow and teaching us the joys of drawing.

An INSPIRING community collaboration held in 2018 celebrating the installation of a time-line map under the Turnham Green bridge. 300 primary school children created 400+ little clay houses, trees and shops to place on a map of Chiswick for all to see. What a day!
